Hemp Hearts Spring Salad

Chef Sal’s Hemp Hearts Spring Salad

  • ½ Lb Fresh Spinach Leaves
  • 6 Fresh Nasturtium Leaves
  • 1 Avocado, Diced
  • 1 Grapefruit, Cut Into Segments, Retain Juice
  • 1 Apple With Skin, Diced
  • 4 Ounces Grape Seed Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Hemp Hearts Per Person
  • ~~Touch Of Sea Salt
  • Cayenne To Taste

 

Preparation Instructions

  • Blend all juice from grapefruit with grape seed oil, salt; set aside.
  • Mix spinach with nasturtium leaves; add avocado, grapefruit segments and apple.
  • Toss with grapefruit juice/oil dressing.
  • Garnish with hemp hearts.
  • Add touch of cayenne if desired.
